CI Minister Candi MacAlpine is just one of many Christians teaming up across the United States to spiritually divorce the false god Baal. Their purpose? To end the drought in America.

MacAlpine, of Oakhurst, California, met with several believers on Tuesday, October 20^th at the geographical center of the state to hold a spiritual divorce ceremony led by John Benefiel, who received divine revelation that Christians divorcing Baal in their region would end the drought.

John Benefiel’s goal is to change the drought so America can come into revival, according to MacApline, who expects to see improvement in California following the decree of divorce.

“God told [Benefiel] specifically to come to California,” said MacAlpine. Benefiel has taken his mission to only a few states so far, including Georgia and Oklahoma.

“After the divorcing of Baal, the condition of the drought in several states has already changed,” said MacAlpine.

Research in Georgia showed the state improve from a category D4 drought in 36% of the state in December 2007 to 0% at category D4 and only 3.2% at D3 by May 2008¹.

MacAlpine advises Christians to understand the spiritual influence of Baal in America and to participate in divorcing the false God and re-covenanting with Jesus as an individual, family, church, region and state.
